say some tips for colouring the kolam

Kamala said...

Hi Kalaimathi,

When we buy the colour powder in the shop, it is very fine. You have to add the white Kola powder and mix it well to get flowing texture. You can fill up by hand or by using the tea strainer. Put the colour powder into the tea strainer and gently shake over the portion of the kolam. After colouring the kolam, you can again draw the white lines. Matching the colours are one's own like and desire.
