Kolam also known as Rangoli, is a dainty floor painting, which is an integral part of South Indian tradition. It is a beautiful and perhaps the only one art, drawn every day by women in the households. It symbolizes beauty and provides a welcoming environment.
Hi, This is a very great blog. I am basically from Andhra Pradesh. The months of Dec & Jan are rangoli season to us. Right now I am in US and I wanted to create that mood in our patio. I was doing Google search to find some nice rangoli designs from 2 days. I was looking for a website that actually teaches me how to draw those designs. The search was very frustrating till I came across your stunning blog. This is what exactly I was looking for. You have got a fabulous idea. All the best and keep posting more designs.
