hi kamala,
neenga romba talented.. not just in cooking but other arts too. The last time I put kolam was when I was a 15 year old. During margazhi, we used to put the kolams in the night itself, and decorate with flowers and colour podis.. nostalgia.. My mum still puts kolam in the morning everyday. I live outside India and only put tiny rice floor kolams in front of vizhakku on festival days Anu
Hi Anu, Thank you for your comments. As you said the people who live outside India not able to put big kolams. I too used to put thirty different big kolams during Marghazi. But now-a-days, people do not have time and the younger generation not practising Kolam. Hence, I want to put in a place all the kolams so that people like you can inform about our culture to the future generation and also to others what is all about Kolam.
