Kolam No.277


15 - 8 interlaced dots (Idukku Pulli) Kolam.


Start with 15 dots in the center and stop at 8 by putting interlaced dots at both sides as shown above.



Join dots as shown above and draw thick line. Erase the remaining dots. Fill with appropriate colour powders.

I had a query...For these colour kolams, do u use chalk to draw the kolam or kolam powder?

Hi Priya,

Since kolams are drawn on the ground, we cannot use chalk. I use Kolam Powder only. If we do not have kolam powder, we can use rice power (in fact we have to use rice flour only for kolam). But if you are drawing the kolam on cement/concrete floor, you can use chalk.
