Put 8 dots - 8 lines and draw the above kolam.  Erase the remaining dots.

Join dots as shown above.   Fill with desired colour powder.

Put 10 parallel dots 4 lines - Leave 3 dots at both ends and put 3 lines.  Join dots as shown above and leave as it is or fill the boxes with desired colour powders.

Put 15 dots in the center - leave one dot at both ends and put dots at both sides and stop at 1 dot.  Join dots as shown above.  Erase the left out dots and put a small design in the center.

Start with 17 dots in the center and stop at 9 by putting interlaced dots at both sides as shown above.

Join dots as shown above and leave like that or fill with desired colour powders.

Put 6 parallel dots 6 lines as shown above.


Then put two dots at all the corners as shown above.



Join dots as shown above and leave like that OR put dot in the empty boxes and fill with desired colour powders in the center design as shown in the first Kolam.

19 - 19 parallel dots (Neer Pulli) Kolam.



Put 19 parallel dots 19 lines.  First draw the sikku kolam and then put desired designs in the four corners.  Fill with colour powders.

9 - 8 - 7 - 6 interlaced dots (Idukku Pulli) Kolam.


Start with 8 dots and put 7 interlaced dot and then 8 and 9. Then reduce to 8-7-8 and then 9 and repeat this. Finally put one dot at all the cornersas shown above.



Draw straight lines and curves as shown above. Draw thick line. Leave as it is or fill with desired colour powders.

Join dots as shown above. Leave this kolam as it is or fill with colour powders. I purposely left some parts without colouring. This will look beautiful when you draw in the floor.

Put 29 dots in the center - leave one dot at both ends and put dots at both sides and stop at 1 dot as shown above.



Join dots as shown above. Erase the remaining dots and draw thick lines. Fill with desired colour powders or with "Kavi".
