14 - 7 interlaced dots (Idukku Pulli) Kolam.

When I posted  Margazhi Kolam Contest 2014 at Chidambaram, one of our readers asked for step-by-step drawing of Kolam No.13 drawn for the Contest.  I give below the dot count and  drawing steps:

Put 14 dots two lines in the center.  Then put interlaced dots at both ends and stop at 7 dots. 

Join dots as above. Then draw thick lines and outer freehand design and fill with desired colour powders.
